Royal Mail Strike Action – Christmas Deliveries

With Royal Mail bringing forward the last posting dates for Christmas deliveries, and further strike action going ahead, there is now the likelihood of severe delays to deliveries and no guarantee of items being delivered before Christmas. We have explored using other couriers, but with the increased volume of deliveries they also face, due to many other retailers doing the same thing, we do not feel confident that would be an acceptable solution.

We have therefore have taken the decision to close early for the Christmas Holiday.

This isn’t a decision we have taken lightly, after a tough second half of the year closing for one of our busiest weeks is the last thing we want to do.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but after careful consideration, we have decided this is the best course of action for both our customers and ourselves as a business.
